Who is Kids First Australia?

Kids First Australia is a proudly independent child and family services provider and early education specialist. We have been at the heart of community care in Victoria since 1896. Informed by evidence, our programs are designed to strengthen family relationships, support healing and recovery from trauma, and set all children up for the brighter futures they deserve.

Our Sexual Abuse Counselling & Prevention Program
The trauma of sexual abuse has enormous impacts on children, young people and their families and carers. Without specialist intervention the impacts of these experiences can be long lasting and profound. Kids First Australia was a pioneer of sexual abuse services for children and young people in Victoria. Since 1999 our Sexual Abuse Counselling and Prevention Program (SACPP) has worked with children and young people up to 18 years of age who have engaged in harmful sexual behaviours.
